Classrooms

Classrooms

The number of learners in each grade is limited to ensure that individualized teaching can be provided. We do not have combined grades but we do cater for individual's needs within each grade. Education is offered in English and Afrikaans.

Parental Involvement

Parental Involvement

Raslouw Academy believes in a partnership with the parents. In order to reach the best possible outcomes parental involvement and support is vital.

Student Progress

An extensive report about the learner's progress is sent to parents on a monthly basis. Aspects of the learner's academic progress, and achievements in the various learning areas, are covered in this report. Continuous assessment tasks and tests are attached.

At the end of the year each learner is assessed individually by Dr Pretorius to determine his/her progress. This assessment provides guidelines and recommendations to the parents.

Involvement with the Teachers

The educators are available after school everyday until 14:00 if the parents wish to make appointments to discus their child's progress.
